Born and raised in Macau, Pal Lok Chok works across exhibition curation, cross-disciplinary performance production, project planning, and artistic creation.

In 2013, she co-founded MyLand Culture, a non-profit arts organisation which has since become one of Macau’s most active artistic organisations. Through sustained initiatives and curatorial projects in contemporary art and culture, MyLand Culture promotes knowledge sharing, uncovers local community values, and fosters artistic exchange between Macau and global networks.

Pal approaches curation as a form of creative experimentation, social function, and cultural inquiry. Her practice takes place not only in professional venues but also in public and alternative spaces across the city. Since 2013, she has organised numerous independent arts festivals within Macau’s heritage sites and districts, including the Red Market, St. Lazarus’ Church District, and the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards in Coloane. In recent years, she launched the “MyLand Living Room” project, a pop-up experimental art space which serves as a medium for community intervention and a platform for exhibitions, experimental theatre, and live music.

Pal currently lectures at the Faculty of Arts and Design of the Macao Polytechnic University. She has contributed to various cultural magazines, newspapers, and online media in Hong Kong and Macau. She also served as the lead editor of (Italics) 2011-2014-2017 The once dusty land – Images of Hengqin (Italics), a compilation of works from the Hengqin photography exhibitions initiated by Macau pioneering artist Frank Lei between 2011 and 2017.

From 2012 to 2013, Pal was awarded a scholarship by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Macau to pursue a Master’s degree in Arts Management. She later worked at the Cultural Affairs Bureau, where she contributed to the research and implementation of the policies and funding schemes for cultural and creative industries. She also served as Head of Art Innovation at Artelli, a major Macau-based art space, overseeing art content planning, curation, and exhibition production. During her tenure there, she curated and produced projects and solo exhibitions for internationally renowned artists including Jean-Michel Basquiat and Nobuyoshi Araki.

澳門策展人／創意製作人／藝文組織「埋欄文化」創辦人

陸竹，出生及成長於澳門，從事展覽策展、跨領域展演創意製作、項目策劃及藝術創作等多元的跨學科藝術實踐。

她在2013年參與創辦非營利藝術機構「埋欄文化」。透過持續發起和策劃當代藝術及文化企劃，推動知識傳遞、發掘社區在地價值，以及國際與澳門藝術交流。為澳門最為活躍的藝術團隊之一。

她探索策展作為創意實驗、社會功能、文化探詢的行動。其藝術實踐除了於多地專業場地發生，亦多見於城市中的公共和替代空間，包括在2013至今曾於澳門文化遺產建築或區域，包括紅街市、望德堂區、路環荔枝碗村舉辦多個民辦藝術節。她近年發起「埋欄客廳」藝術空間計劃，以特定期間持續進行的實驗性藝術空間作為媒介介入社區，並為展覽、實驗劇場和音樂表演等提供平台。

陸氏現時是澳門理工大學藝術及設計學院講師。她曾為港、澳多家文化雜誌、報紙及線上媒體供稿。曾主持編撰《背山揚塵–橫琴影像集 2011-2014-2017》，為澳門先驅藝術家李銳奮在2011至2017年間發起橫琴影像群展的作品收錄。

她在2012-2013年獲澳門文化局赴外進修奬學金支持修讀藝術管理碩士。其後曾任職於文化局參與文化創意產業政策及資助計劃的研究和推行；亦曾於澳門大型藝術空間Artelli擔任藝術創新主管，負責藝術內容規劃、策展及展覽製作，期間參與策劃Jean-Michel Basquiat、荒木經惟等國際知名藝術家的藝術項目及個展。
